Describing Clothes - 02
Clothing is primarily used to provide protection from the elements and to conceal the wearer. The decorative use is a secondary use that may become more important in the future. The distinction of individuals leads to the distinction of social classes. From their original function as a means of indicating rank and status, they evolved into valuable property, and certain articles became entangled with social customs, eventually becoming a medium of exchange and an economic standard of value in and of themselves. Some different ways to describe different types of clothes are- tight-fitting, baggy, casual, formal & colourful.
