A pair of late 1930s/early 1940s pants. The have a wide waistband with a chainstitched pattern, and they fasten at the side waist with buttons. The muted red fabric is a cotton or cotton/rayon twill. A pair of late 1930s/early 1940s pants. The have a wide waistband with a chainstitched pattern, and they fasten at the side waist with buttons. The muted red fabric is a cotton or cotton/rayon twill. (Note: these were once pants with suspenders because they had interior buttons, but they no longer have the accompanying straps).

Size: xxs

Waist: 22.5-snug 23

Hip: 36

Length: 39.5

Front rise: 16

Back rise: 16.5

Inseam: 25

Condition: Fair but still wearable. These pants were clearly someone's favorite casual pants. They have lots of indication of wear. They have what looks like paint spots throughout. There are small holes/wear spots. I've mended the largest, but there are some smaller ones I left alone. The seat of the pants is worn and the fabric has started to thin, but the fabric here is still very wearable as is. The chain stitching at the waist has come out in places. The pants have been hemmed multiple times, and there are old fade and stitching lines. See close-up pics for some examples of flaws. I love these pants for their workwear nature.
