Black Beauty is a horse that grows up on an English farm and goes on to work in the harsh London streets pulling cabs. In each chapter, Black Beauty describes a time in his life from which he learns a lesson by overcoming hardships or experiencing acts of kindness. This paperback edition of Black Beauty is part of a social venture project to raise money for literacy charities.
