This is a wonderful 1960s sheer black nylon nightie made in England under the Saxon brand label. This black nylon nightie has lovely form, with a wide V neckline, crisscross bodice and skirt that falls beautifully in drapes in a full length to the ankle. It is sleeveless and has no closures - it simply fits over the head. The crisscross part of the bodice is trimmed in lace and inset with pink satin ribbon. The bottom of the nightie has a flounce, bordered at the top by inset pink satin ribbon. The bodice is decorated at the front with a long pink satin bow. The nightie is cut to expose the back. This black nylon nightie is constructed with a layer of black nylon over a layer of flesh tone pink nylon. The band around the lower bust is elasticized, so has some “give”.
