This is an adorable, late 1950s, small toy Bride doll- all dressed in a beautiful lacy, silk ribboned wedding gown, complete with veil and bouquet. Her face paint is lovely, she has sleep eyes which work perfectly. Her head and arms are movable, legs do not move. Her hair is brunette and hangs down her back. She has tiny, white painted on shoes. She stands inside a plastic, bell shaped dome. The bottom is a cardboard disc that snaps into the plastic to hold her in. She was purchased at Leggett’s. She is removal for play if desired but has never been played with. I received her from my aunt when I was a little girl. I was so in awe of her beauty I didn’t remove her to play with her. She always stood stately in her protective world for me to see. Dimensions: The plastic dome is 9 inches tall, 7 inches wide at base. The doll is 6 inches tall, with 5 inch wide dress. Condition: Doll is in great vintage condition. Her hair is so soft I feel like would break if combed. Her dress is perfect with no tears, rips or holes. It is very slightly yellowed from age. The plastic dome is slightly discolored, like vintage plastic. It has one small black spot on one side. It has a crack at the very bottom of the base missing plastic, but does not detract from toy. See last photo. No cracks or holes otherwise. Missing plastic carrying handle on the top. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS to determine if these vintage imperfections are acceptable before purchase.
