This is a PAIR of French Art Nouveau lithograph design plates for lacework broidery featuring floral vignettes and ornamental motifs. They came from an unbound portfolio of designs published in Paris c1900. They are original to c1900 and NOT recent reproduction prints. These decorative panels are in a rich deep cobalt blue with contrasting off-white/blue tones. They have strong graphic details. The designs exemplify the organic forms typical of Art Nouveau where fine art fuses with natural forms. The designs are ornamental and beautifully unique with intricate and delicate detailing.
