The Jazzercise class is sponsored by Ms. Pleasant, who moved in during the summer, is one of 23 Lincoln Heights residents who received an apartment unit that was designated for residents of public housing. The new apartment units recently built by Anthony Wash was the result of a contract he received from the city to build a $22 million five-story building with 70 apartment units with commercial space on the first-floor on city land the city provided $6.2 million for the subsidized housing but he was still short over $1 million at the end of the project.
