Elazığ Vişne marble (Rosso Levanto) is extracted from Elazığ, a city in Turkey. This local marble is rich in tones of red, burgundy and cherry and dazzles with its white veins and patterns. Turkey, carrying the largest reserves of cherry marble in the world, exports this stone to over 60 countries. The color red is believed to represent good luck, energy, and passion. Note: This candleholder is slightly large for standerd 7/8in taper candles- we recommend using candle putty like this one to keep your candle completely vertical.
