India's 'Tallest Man', Dharmendra Pratap Singh, Joins Samajwadi Party

Dharmendra Pratap Singh, who claims to be India's tallest man, joined the Samajwadi Party on Saturday. Mr Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh is 2.4m (8 ft 1 in) tall. He is just 11 cm shy of the world record.
Dharmendra Pratap Singh garners a lot of attention when he steps out. In an interview, Mr Singh had said that when people want to get a picture with him, he feels like a celebrity.
