Symptoms of femoral hernia
A femoral hernia is a bulge of bowel or fatty tissue that is pushed through a weak muscle in the thigh. It occurs near the thigh, usually the right side. A femoral hernia sometimes causes a swelling in the upper inner thigh or groin. These swellings can usually go away when you lie down.
