In Ubhaya Padangusthasana, Sanskrit word Ubhaya means both, Pada means foot and Angustha means Big Toe, and Asana means Pose, i.e., Both Big Toe Pose. This pose is a seated balancing yoga pose and is considered more of a challenging posture in the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series.
