On Saturday, the Daily Mail exposed a scathing interview where Couderc suggested that women considered “voluptuous” or with “very prominent hips and a very flat chest" should perhaps refrain from buying one of the company’s signature $1,000 dresses. To add insult to injury, he then went on to say, “if you’re a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won’t want to buy a Léger dress.
