From the 21st to the 29th of November, BEST Skopje will be a host to an event with 20 participants from 20 different BEST groups who will have the chance to upgrade their skills as well as their Local BEST Groups through training of soft skills held by 6 trainers from BEST International.
From the 1st all the way to the 29th of November the applications for the Spring BEST Academic Courses across Europe are open!
There are 17 courses available in 10 countries across Europe, among which: Spain, France, Russia, Italy and Netherlands.
Not everything is about the idea you have, you should know how to use it in the most profitable way. You are facing million questions about starting your own business. You have the fear to get out of your comfort zone and you don’t know where and how to use that idea. Or you have a team and you are on a good path to creating the next successful startup story, but you don’t know where to start.
1. What exactly is RM Ankara, which BEST local groups were a part of it and how many people were there?
-RM (Regional Meeting) is an event in BEST that happens twice in one year. This autumn it was in Ankara where you could find delegates from the Local BEST Groups, delegates from the departments of BEST, one representative of the international board of BEST and the Regional Adviser. These Regional Meetings most commonly last from 4-5 days and delegates can attend different soft skills sessions, work groups on which they can see the departments work, but also preparations for the upcoming General Assembly. In our region are the following BEST groups: Skopje, Nis, Podgorica, Patras, Athens, Chania, Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. There were a few delegates + trainers + delegates of departments from every mentioned group, and we were about 50 students on this event.

Do you like fun, educative events with lots and lots of foreigners from all across Europe? Do you want to try tons of food and beverages from all across Europe, at least 2-3 times a year?
1. Tell us what exactly is RM Delft in a few words. Which BEST Local Groups were a part of it and how many people were there?
-Regional Meeting Delft 2015 is an international event which took place this Fall(14.10 – 18.10) in the Dutch city Delft, through which members learn more about how BEST functions with attendance on training sessions for soft skills. This event can be attended by both experienced and newer members of BEST. There are also trainers and coordinators of the international teams, the regional adviser and a representative from the international board. But there are also members of the partner organisation BONDING, who as participants were outside of the region, just like myself. There were 9 Local BEST Groups present: Delft, Brussels, Brussels ULB, Paris Supelec, Liege, Torino, Rome, Nansi and Erlangen. So i met a lot of new friends from this north-west region.
1. What is OHridJAM exactly?
-OHridJAM is a kind of a cultural exchange on an international level, between members of BEST. The event took place from 2nd do 5th of October, in the hotel Beton near the Lake Ohrid. The biggest reason for organising this exchange was the opportunity to see each other again with our friends from the other countries, show them the Macedonian landmarks and traditions, as well as making new friends.
As a 10 year anniversary from the biggest event in BEST – Jamboree 2005, organised by BEST Skopje, this time OHrid JAM 2015 gathered 150 foreign students from different Technical Universities in Europe on a cultural exchange in Ohrid.
1. Your summer passed a little different. Tell us more about that.
– That’s right, my summer did went a bit more different in terms of work than we’re used to, but i still managed to have fun and see new places and meet new cultures. Instead of a vacation or a summer course i was on a summer meeting of the committee for corporate relations on an international level (SM finTeam) that took place from 16th do 25th of August in Warsaw.
1. Tell us something about EBEC, what is it and who can participate.
-EBEC is an engineering competition meant for students that will have the opportunity to show their skills, creativity and wit. This competition is lots of fun, creativity and a chance to show their competitive spirit. The winners of the local round get to go on the regional round, from where they can participate in the final European round. Only students that are not a part of the Local BEST Group can participate, while organisers can be only those members.
